Our current campaign is to keep Levemir (detemir) insulin available until a biosimilar is accessible, and to coordinate with biosimilar manufacturers in the production of detemir.

After this goal is reached, funds will be used to protect and expand treatment options for those with type 1 diabetes.

APIC does not accept funds from pharmaceutical manufacturers or any entity which might impede our ability to speak out about the need for insulin choice.
